Oewerzicht is a diverse farm where owners Kootjie and Isa Viljoen farm with apples, pears, sheep, cattle and wheat.

Oewerzicht produces its own wine, the Oewerzicht Cabernet Sauvignon. Kootjie Viljoen does not regard himself a winemaker, but rather someone who has a passion for good wine and who sees making wine as a hobby.
