The stone-clad LAPA only a few meters from the bank of the Riviersonderend River is a very popular venue for the bride who dreams of a wedding in the country. It is perfect for smaller weddings of up to 80 (seated) guests, as well as room for a dance area.

For larger weddings, Oewerzicht has a 25m x 14,5m freeform (stretch) tent which can accommodate up to 150 (seated) guests, as well as room for a larger dance floor.

For weddings in either of the venues on the farm, Oewerzicht requires a booking of all the accommodation facilities closest to the venue, for 2 nights, i.e. The 6 tents and the farm cottages, Welgelee, Bergzicht and Citrus.

Oewerzicht can accommodate 42 of your wedding guests, should you want to book all the accommodation facilities on the farm for your guests.

VENUES

Oewerzicht is happy to assist you in finding service providers such as caterers, florist, hair stylist, musicians, minister, hiring agencies for a dance floor, musicians, etc.

Bar facility  : Oewerzicht handles the bar, either cash, open or tab
Corkage    : R15 per bottle for own wine or sparkling wine.
